Photographing a wedding is always a special and unique experience, but when you're tasked with capturing a wedding in the heart of winter in West Yellowstone, Montana, it becomes even more exceptional. I was fortunate enough to be the wedding photographer for Joe and Tanya, who had traveled all the way from Billing, MT, to celebrate their special day in a winter wonderland.
The wedding was held at an Airbnb in West Yellowstone, MT, which was nestled in a beautiful forested area. The Airbnb was surrounded by three to five feet of snow, which made for a picturesque and breathtaking backdrop for the wedding photos.
The bride and groom, Joe and Tanya, were an absolute pleasure to work with. Despite the cold and snowy weather, they were filled with joy and excitement as they prepared for their special day. Tanya looked stunning in her white gown, while Joe looked dapper in his black tuxedo.
As the ceremony began, I was able to capture the couple's special moments, as well as the reactions of their guests, using a combination of candid and posed shots.
The wedding reception was held inside the Airbnb, which was beautifully decorated with winter-themed decorations. The intimate setting provided the perfect opportunity for me to capture candid moments of the couple and their guests enjoying the festivities.
In the end, the day was an absolute success. Joe and Tanya were thrilled with the photos and appreciated the unique and special way that we captured their winter wedding. Laid Back Bozeman Montana Wedding for Matt & Youra’s
Welcome to the new happy couple ( Matt and Youra Thompson)! So happy for both of them and can’t hold them for the future.
Congratulations to newlyweds Matt & Youra Thompson! Last month I had the pleasure of being a part of the Thompson's special day. The atmosphere was full of love, situated at their family's home in Bozeman, with friends, family, and beautiful surroundings.
This wedding was very enjoyable. I had so much fun chatting with everyone, enjoying their yummy food, and capturing photos. We were all fortunate that the weather held off for the ceremony as you never know what the weather may do this time of year.
After the beautiful ceremony we gathered to take family and bridal party photos. It was heartwarming, during the dinner reception, listening to many of the family's closest friends and family speak about how amazing and sweet the two newlyweds are.
